Dr. Thomas Warcup is Chief Medical Officer of Rhode Island Primary Care Medical Group, where he leads clinical strategy, quality improvement, physician engagement, and the organization’s continued transition toward value-based care. A board-certified family medicine physician and native Rhode Islander, Dr. Warcup brings more than two decades of clinical and administrative leadership experience across primary care, rural health, care delivery innovation, and physician-led practice transformation.

Before joining Rhode Island Primary Care, Dr. Warcup served as CEO and Chief Medical Officer of Block Island Medical Center, where he helped develop outpatient care models, advance quality-driven strategies, and expand services including home health and palliative care. He also holds an academic appointment in Family Medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.
